Site frequency spectrum
Most variants are rare, and no selection is needed to explain it: a new mutation starts as one copy and usually dies within a few generations. This tool simulates the genealogy of a sample, places mutations on it, draws the site frequency spectrum, and shows how a bottleneck or an expansion changes it.
