Siblings share 50% of their genome on average, and almost never exactly. This tool simulates the meioses, draws the shared segments on all 22 autosomes, and shows the distribution of sharing across hundreds of pairs. Genetic genealogy works from that distribution, and it is why a relatedness cutoff is a judgment call.
